Cookie policy
How we use cookies on this website, and how you can change your choices at any time.
Last updated: 26 October 2026
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. Some are essential for a site to work. Others help the owner understand how the site is used, or come from services embedded in the page, such as maps.
We only use non-essential cookies if you say yes. You can change your mind at any time using the cookie settings link, which is also at the bottom of every page.
Essential
These are needed for the website to work and can’t be switched off.
- us_consent (stored in your browser): remembers your cookie choices. Kept for 12 months.
- WordPress login cookies: only set for our own staff when they log in to manage the website.
Analytics
If you allow analytics, we use Google Analytics to see which pages are visited and how people find us, so we can improve the site. It does not tell us who you are and we don’t use it for advertising.
- _ga: distinguishes visitors. Kept for up to 2 years.
- _ga_<ID>: keeps track of your visit. Kept for up to 2 years.
Maps
Our contact details include a Google Maps map. Google may set its own cookies when the map loads, so we only show it if you allow maps. You can read how Google uses this information in Google’s cookie policy.
Reviews
Our Google reviews are shown using a service called Trustindex, which loads reviewer names and profile photos from Google.
Changing your choices
Use the cookie settings link at any time. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, although some parts of the site may not work as expected.
More about your privacy
